Meet The Team

Myself and the Xtreme team will be walking with those who join our mentorship program. Local pastors and leaders from around the country will take time to pour into the group of students that God calls to be part of our Mentorship Institute beginning October 1st. The entire Xtreme staff are excited about what God has in store for the fall. Join us and get to know the Xtreme team! In the next few weeks I'll be posting pictures from those that are part of the team here at Xtreme!

A little bit about me. I've been in Christian radio and youth ministry since 1983. I have worked with Dawson McAllister, founded ZJAM Youth Ministries International, hosted five different syndicated radio programs on Christian radio, written two books and have had the chance to speak to teenagers around the world.

Xtreme Youth Alliance

Janet is Bill Scott's executive assistant but that is just the beginning of her duties.  Janet runs our Mentorship Program.  She also works hard on the radio program...actually you'll find her in just about every area of this ministry.

For those that come to Xtreme for the mentorship program, you'll quickly fall in love with Janet's smile and hearty laughter.

Janet is from Northern Michigan and just relocated to the Nashville area during the summer of 2006.  She is learning to enjoy BBQ and grits!  The slow pace of those in the South drives Janet nuts.  She is always on the go. 

Janet has three kids, one grand daughter and too many dogs to count. Actually, Janet says 3 chihuahuas only adds up to about 1 and a half dogs.  Her daughter Candace loves them - they are her babies!

Josh will be working on getting students certified for the Christian Crisis Response Chaplin Program.  This is so you can serve in the Nation's Christian Crisis Response Training Program.  He'll be leading all of us through this cutting edge program.

Josh has served as a pastor, youth pastor and professional counselor.  Jason will be graduating in the Spring as Dr. Jason Straub.  Jason will be doctor in the area of counseling. (I guess Bill figures it is such a distinguished degree that he is changing Josh's name to Jason once he graduates!  LOL - this is why he has Janet around to catch these things - too funny, sorry Josh)

Josh also appears on our radio program from time to time.  Jason (remember that is Josh's name once he graduates or does anything for Dr. Tim  LOL) is the assistant to Dr. Tim Clinton from the American Association of Christian Counselors.  If you see Dr. Tim, you'll see Jason (or Josh, we aren't too sure anymore).

Lee is a crazy guy.  This is a warning to anyone coming to be part of the Mentorship Program.  We think Lee's mom dropped him at a very young age. Ok, wait, I have a quote from Lee after he read this post.  "First off, dropped yes, young age no.  She drop kicked me at 10, 12 and 15.......  Just incase you were wondering."

Lee will help in leading our Wild at Heart class for the guys.  Lee also is involved in our radio department part time.  Lee is just a great guy who loves the Lord and believes in this generation.

Lee works part-time with Xtreme but you wouldn't know it because he's always on the phone to you and emails a million times each day.  You'll enjoy getting to know this man.
